Camille Villar, hindi sapat ang ngipin ng RA 10642 para salagin ang pagmamalabis at pagtakas sa responsibilidad ng mga car dealers at manufacturers na gumagawa at nagbebenta ng depektibong sasakyan sa mga mamamayan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hirit ni Villar, House Bill 10347 na may kakayahan panagutin sa sukdulang abot ng legal na pamamaraan para hindi na pamarisan pa ng iba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA number of complaints against non-conformity, defect or condition that substantially impairs the use, value or safety of brand-new motor vehicles have not been satisfactorily or expeditiously resolved,\u201d wika ng lady solon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ang mas nakakadismaya pa, ani Villar, ay ang pagkakaroon ng masalimuot na proseso para magamit ang mga takdang probisyon sa ilalim ng Philippine Lemon Law ang siya pang lalong nagbibigay ng problema sa mga motor vehicle owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa ilalim ng kasalukuyang bersyon ng nasabing batas, limitado ang saklaw ng proteksyon \u2013 para lang sa mga binebentang brand new units na may mga isyu kaugnay ng manufacturer o distributor&#8217;s standards o specifications, at yaong mga tinaguriang \u201cbeyond repair.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hindi na rin aniya dapat bigyan ng apat na pagkakataon ang mga manufacturers at dealers na kumpunihin ang isang brand new unit \u2013 \u201cKaya nga brand new ang binili para walang sakit ng ulo, tapos ang mangyayari, magpapabalik-balik ang mga kawawang Pilipino para makiusap na ayusin ang problema ng nabiling oto.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mungkahi ng mambabatas \u2013 isang pagkakataon lang ang dapat ibigay sa mga manufacturers at car dealers para aregluhin ang anumang diperensya ng binentang brand new unit. Dapat rin aniya tiyakin ng mga manufacturers at car dealers na may maayos na after-sales services at piyesa ang anumang sasakyan ng ibebenta sa lokal na merkado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe parts, components or assemblies should be made available within 10 days from the date a complaint has been made or a request for repair is requested.
