NAGSAMPA ng kasong graft and corruption ang Crimes and Corruption Watch International, Inc. (CCWI), laban sa mga opisyal ng DPWH Region 6 dahil sa umano’y nilokong bidding at pagbigay na kontratang nagkakahalaga ng mahigit PhP2.4 bilyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Ipinahayag ni Dr. Carlo Magno Batalla, Founding Chairman ng CCWI, na panahon na para sampahan ng kaso ang mga tiwaling opisyal ng gobyerno, lalo na ang mga opisyal ng DPWH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Noong 2024, ang DPWH Region 6 ay naglunsad ng mga proyekto na nagkakahalaga ng PhP9,258,597,000, kung saan ang contractor na  IBC Builders ay tumanggap ng mga proyektong nagkakahalaga ng PhP2.4 bilyon o higit pa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Binigyang-diin ni Batalla na dapat sumunod ang mga contractor sa mga probisyon ng kontrata at may website ang DPWH kung saan naka-post ang status ng mga kasalukuyang proyekto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Binanggit din niya na nagsampa na sila noon ng kasong plunder ngunit hindi nagtagumpay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Samantala, sinisingil din ng CCWI ang Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), para sa pagpapahinto ng pag-imprenta ng National ID, na isang “blessing in disguise” para sa pagkaantala sa paghahatid ng 48 milyong National ID.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0\u00a0 Nanalo ang CCWI sa kaso laban sa BSP at sa All Card, at kasalukuyang nakabinbin ngayon ang motion for reconsideration sa Quezon City Regional Trial Court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
