They\u2019re all millionaire, billionaires, they\u2019re all well-connected. We want to know who the officers and owners of these institutions and online gambling enterprises are. We\u2019ll share with the media the results of the next hearing,\u201d dagdag niya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI want to know how much their income is; how much do they collect in totality from these online gambling activities? And how [many] users of online gambling platforms are there?\u201d giit ng senador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinabi pa ng senador na gusto din nitong kumpirmahin na mayroong 32 milyong Filipino ang nagsusugal sa online gambling sa buong bansa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThat\u2019s almost 1\/3, a little less than 1\/3 of the population already. Imagine, in every household, that\u2019s almost one to two individuals in every household getting addicted to online gambling,\u201d aniya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaugnay nito, pinasalamatan din ni Ziubiri ang&nbsp; Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas sa pagpapatigil sa lahat ng e-wallet firms na nakakonekta sa online gambling platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cThank you to BSP. This is such a big win for those who are fighting against online gambling. A lot has been messaging me saying our campaign is a success because they can no longer link with e-wallets like Gcash and PayMaya (for online gambling),\u201d aniya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinabi pa ni Zubiri na matagumpay ang pagkilos ng BSP partikular sa lalawigan na mahirap ang accesability dahil walang credit cards sa kanayunan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cSo this is one big step forward. And we\u2019ll still be discussing other issues during the hearings,\u201d aniya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Pero, natuklasan din ni Zubiri na nag-adjust ang ibang online gambling platforms ng kanilang operasyon sa pamamagitan ng ibang uri ng payment platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s why we need a law that would prohibit all platforms\u2014Viber, WhatsApp, all Google platforms. That should all be removed.
