Hindi magtatapos sa flood control projects ang imbestigasyon ng Senado hinggil sa ghost projects na kinulimbat ng ilang private contractor kasabwat ang mga pulitiko sa Kongreso dahil isasama sa susuriin ang mas marami pang proyekto ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayon kay Senador Juan Miguel Zubiri, sasakupin din ng imbestigasyon ang paglalagay ng rock netting sa mga mapanganib na lugar na kadalasang gumuguho ang lupa, dredging ng ilog, paglalagay ng cat\u2019s eye sa lansangan, pagtatayo ng solar lamp sa highway at lahat ng itinayong by-pass at pagtatayo ng multi-purpose building at kalsada sa buong bansa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFlood control pa lang itong naiimbestigahan ngayon, at sigurado akong marami pang anomalysa sa ibang infrastructure projects gaya ng notorious na rock netting projects na wala namang silbi, mga solar lamps, cat\u2019s eye, multi-purpose buildings, road projects, at yung dredging projects na hindi naman natin malaman kung nagawa ba o hindi,\u201d ayon kay Zubiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayon kay Zubiri, may isang stage roof ang bumagsak sa isang grupo ng mga estudyante sa Albay. \u201cBagong gawa lang po ito, pero bumigay agad, natamaan lang ng ulan\u2014hindi pa nga ito bagyo.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDapat imbestigahan na lahat ng infrastructure projects, hindi lang flood control. It is very possible that the funds pocketed through these ghost and substandard projects have now exceeded the misappropriations under the pork barrel scam,\u201d giit ni Zubiri.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayon kay Zubiri: \u201cThis is why all the contractors and government officials behind these anomalous projects must face plunder, graft and corruption, and syndicated estafa charges\u2014non-bailable offenses that will ensure that they do not escape jail time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf investigations reveal forgery, they should also be filed with falsification of public documents, under the Revised Penal Code,\u201d giit ng senador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sinabi ni Zubiri na may hawak ng dirty money ang mga taong sangkot sa ghost projects kabilang ang private contractor at kasabwat na pulitiko sa Kongreso, partikular sa Bulacan na lalawigan ni Senador Joel Villanueva na maraming ghost projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Naunang pinabulaanan ni Villanueva na may kakilala siyang opisyal ng DPWH. Pero, pagkatapos ng kanyang privilege speech sa Senado, naglabasan ang video sa social media na siya mismo ang nagpakilala kay DPWH District Engineer Henry Alcantara sa isang event sa Bocaue na pawang sangkot sa ilang anomalya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
