Ibigay natin ang pondo sa LGU at sa NGO na may track record sa paggawa ng schoolbuilding. Sa tingin namin, mas mabilis ang paggawa at mas mura pa, sa tamang halaga,\u201d wika ni ni Aquino, chairperson ng Committee on Basic Education.<br><br>\u201cNais natin makita na magawa po itong classrooms na ito, in the next 3 to 5 years, masara natin yung classroom gap natin. The only way we can do this is kung maraming sabay-sabay gagawa ng classroom. Kung isang ahensiya lang ang gagawa ng classroom, hindi tayo matatapos,\u201d dagdag pa niya.<br><br>Hinimok din ni Aquino ang pamahalaan na magtiwala sa mga may kakayahang NGO at dedikadong LGU na determinadong itaas ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa kani-kanilang mga komunidad.<br><br>\u201cMagtiwala tayo sa mga NGO na may track record at iyong LGU na nais makita ang mga mas magandang classroom at edukasyon sa kanilang lugar,\u201d paliwanag niya.<br><br>Muling iginiit ni Aquino ang kanyang hangaring ilipat ang bahagi ng flood control budget tungo sa edukasyon, sa halip na ilaan ang bilyun-bilyong pisong pondo sa mga lugar na hindi naman binabaha.<br><br>&#8220;Nais namin makita ang isang mas maayos na pondo ng flood control.
