Bam Aquino upang makatulong na matugunan ang kakulangan sa mga silid-aralan sa bansa.<br><br>Iniabot ng LMP Cebu Chapter &#8212; na kumakatawan sa 44 na municipal mayor ng lalawigan &#8212; kay Aquino ng kopya ng Resolution No. 2, Series of 2025 sa kanyang pagbisita sa lalawigan para sa pagdiriwang ng Sinulog Festival kamakailan.<br><br>Inaasahang aaprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Bill No. 1482 sa ikatlo at pinal na pagbasa kapag nagbalik ang sesyon sa Enero 26. Isinama rin ang panukala sa priority list ng Legislative-Executive Development Advisory Council (LEDAC).<br><br>Sa ilalim ng panukala, maaaring magtayo ng mga silid-aralan ang mga local government unit (LGU) at mga non-government organization (NGO) na may napatunayang track record sa loob ng kanilang nasasakupan, alinsunod sa mga pamantayan at alituntunin ng Department of Education.<br><br>Sa resolusyon nito, binigyang-diin ng LMP Cebu Chapter ang kahalagahan ng CAP Act sa pagtugon sa kakulangan ng mga silid-aralan at learning spaces sa bansa, partikular sa mga munisipalidad.<br><br>\u201cSenator Bam Aquino has introduced the Classroom Building Acceleration Program (CAP) Bill, which seeks to hasten the construction, rehabilitation, and improvement of classrooms nationwide through coordinated and efficient government action,\u201d pahayag ng grupo.<br><br>\u201cThe proposed measure aims to strengthen inter-agency collaboration, improve utilization of education infrastructure funds, and ensure timely implementation of school building projects,\u201d dagdag pa nito.<br><br>Binigyang diin din ng LMP Cebu Chapter sa resolusyon nito na ang CAP Act ay isang mahalagang hakbang tungo sa pagkamit ng inklusibo at de-kalidad na edukasyon para sa lahat, alinsunod sa layunin ng pambansang pamahalaan na paunlarin ang sektor ng edukasyon.<br><br>Ang panukala ay nagkakaisang inaprubahan ng LMP Cebu Chapter sa mosyon ni Mayor Lissa Marie Durano-Streegan, kung saan sama-samang hinimok ng grupo ang dalawang kapulungan ng Kongreso na agarang aprubahan ang panukala.<br><br>Nilagdaan ang resolusyon ng 44 municipal mayors ng Cebu, kabilang sina Rajiv Enad (Minglanilla), Mytha Canoy (San Fernando), Caroline Bacaltos (Sibonga), Jose Eugenio B.
