Malaki ang paniniwala ni Senador Sherwin Gatchalian na pabibilisin ng maigting na koordinasyon ng local government units (LGUs) at   Department of Education  ang pagpapatayo ng silid-aralan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inihayag ito ni Gatchalian   matapos lagdaan ng DepEd at lokal na pamahalaan ang isang memorandum of agreement kung saan nakasaad ang pagpapatupad ng isang nationwide classroom building program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ayon kay Gatchalian, naaayon ang bagong kasunduan sa 2026 national budget na pinahihintulutan ang DepEd na gumamit ng iba\u2019t ibang paraan sa pagpapatayo ng mga silid-aralan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sa ilalim ng 2026 national budget, maaaring pasukin ng DepEd ang kasunduan sa mga LGUs, civil society organization, non-governmental organization, at Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Corps of Engineers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMahalagang hakbang ang pakikipagtulungan natin sa mga local government units upang makapagpatayo pa tayo ng mas maraming mga silid-aralan. Kung sabay-sabay na magpapatayo ang mga lokal na pamahalaan, mas marami tayong mapapakinabangang silid-aralan at unti-unti nating mapupunan ang kakulangan sa ating mga pasilidad,\u201d ayon kay Gatchalian, Chairman ng Senate Committee on Finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Umabot sa P65.9 bilyon ang inilaan sa ilalim ng 2026 national budget para sa pagpapatayo, pagpapalit, at pagkumpleto ng mga school buildings para sa kindergarten, elementary, at high school, kabilang ang mga technical-vocational laboratories.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
