{"id":4342,"date":"2026-02-27T17:54:56","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T09:54:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roadnews.net\/?p=4342"},"modified":"2026-02-27T17:54:57","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T09:54:57","slug":"81-senior-afp-officials-nakalusot-sa-ca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roadnews.net\/index.php\/2026\/02\/27\/81-senior-afp-officials-nakalusot-sa-ca\/","title":{"rendered":"81 SENIOR AFP OFFICIALS, NAKALUSOT SA CA"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Ni Ernie Reyes<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nakalusot sa kumpirmasyon ng makapangyarihang Commission on Appointments (CA) nap pinamumunuan ni Senate President Vicente \u201cTito\u201d Sotto III ang 81 senior officers ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa ginanap na plenaryo nitong Miyerkoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dulot nito, malugod na tinanggap ng pamunuan ng AFP ang kumpirmasyon ng ad intereim appointments ng 18 senior officers kaya\u2019t nagkaroon ng mas mahusay at magandang posisyon ang sandatahan sa inisyatiba ng modernisasyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNow formally confirmed, these senior officers are better positioned to advance modernization initiatives, enhance joint interoperability, and effectively carry out the military&#8217;s mandate to safeguard national sovereignty and protect the Filipino people, ayon sa AFP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nanguna sa listahan na kinumpirma ng CA si &nbsp;&nbsp;Rear Admiral Andro Val Abayon, kasalukuyang hepe ng Presidential Security Command.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayon sa records ng CA, pinakamaraming contingent mula sa Philippine Army na may 39 colonel na nakatanggap ng opisyal na kumpirmasyon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sumunod naman ang &nbsp;&nbsp;Philippine Navy na may 19 senior officers \u2013 dalawang rear admirals, kabilang si Abayon, isang commodore, at 16 naval captains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samantala, apat na miyembro naman ng Philippine Marine Corps na pawang senior officers ang nakumpirma \u2013 isang brigadier general at 3 colonels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siyam na kumpirmasyon naman ang nakopo ng Philippine Airforce na kinabibilangan ng isang &nbsp;&nbsp;brigadier general at walong colonels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Completing the roster were 10 senior officers representing the AFP\u2019s vital technical and administrative services. This specialized group includes two colonels from the Medical Corps, one from the Medical Administrative Corps, and four from the Nurse Corps.
