Francis Escudero ang mas matibay na proteksiyon para sa mga manggagawa sa sektor ng kuryente upang masiguro ang matatag at tuloy-tuloy na serbisyo sa publiko.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ipinahayag ng senador ngayong biyernes na Inihain niya ang Senate Bill No. 498 na layuning gawing permanente na ang pagbibigay ng benepisyo at sapat na proteksyon sa mga power worker sa buong Pilipinas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Samantala, saklaw ng bagong panukala ang mga linemen na nagsisilbing frontliners o unang rumeresponde tuwing may mga sakuna katulad ng bagyo, lindol at malawakang brownout. SB 498 seeks to address this gap,\u201d giit ng senador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ayon pa sa senador, hindi dapat puro presyo ng kuryente ang pinag-uusapan dahil may mga manggagawang nagsasakripisyo upang masigurong may ilaw ang bawat tahanan sa lahat ng komunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Matatandaang ngayong buwan ng February ay umabot sa PHP0.2226 kada kilowatt-hour ang pagtaas ng singil sa kuryente na katumbas ng halos PHP45 dagdag sa buwanang bayarin ng karaniwang pamilya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Habang ramdam ng mga konsyumer ang pagtaas ng singil, aniya, nalalagay naman sa panganib ang mga frontliner sa kuryente na kulang sa sapat na proteksiyon at benepisyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Binigyang-diin niya na sa likod ng bawat kilowatt-hour na ginagamit ng publiko ay may mga manggagawang humaharap sa panganib para lamang mapanatiling maayos ang serbisyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ni Nelle de San Jose Isinusulong ni Sen.
