{"id":995,"date":"2025-02-25T21:38:47","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T13:38:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/roadnews.net\/?p=995"},"modified":"2025-02-25T21:38:48","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T13:38:48","slug":"dahil-sa-sim-registration-act-online-scam-dumarami","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/roadnews.net\/index.php\/2025\/02\/25\/dahil-sa-sim-registration-act-online-scam-dumarami\/","title":{"rendered":"Dahil sa SIM Registration Act: ONLINE SCAM DUMARAMI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Dahil sa SIM Registration Act:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ONLINE SCAM DUMADAMI<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ISANG malaking hamon sa mga awtoridad ang pagsugpo sa online scams dahil sa SIM Registration Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ito ang pahayag ni Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) Executive Director Undersecretary Gilbert Cruz, matapos iulat ng credit rating firm na Moody\u2019s, na may Filipino entity at mga tao ang sangkot sa romance scams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sa katunayan, nakita ang mabilis na pagsirit sa 45 na kaso noong 2024 kontra sa 10 lamang noong 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Philippines ranked seventh globally for the highest number of entities and people with potential ties to romance scams,\u201d ayon sa Moody\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Aminado naman si Cruz na ang Pilipinas ay naging hotspot para sa cyber scams, partikular na sa romance scams at financial fraud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cIyong mga nakakausap ko pong mga foreign counterparts natin, law enforcement counterpart, every time they do an investigation, lumalabas ho na iyong mga scamming activities o iyong source ng scamming ay nanggaling po sa Pilipinas,\u201d dagdag pa niya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cKapag sa international scene ho, kapag naimbitahan po ako doon o kapag uma-attend po ako ng mga seminars, forums o kaya meeting, it\u2019s always\u2026 sasabihin nila, \u2018We have victims here in our country and upon tracing, nakita namin na it\u2019s coming sa inyo,&#8217;\u201d ani Cruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ayon pa sa kanya, na isa sa mga problema ay ang SIM Registration Act, sa dahilang napahihintulutan ang mga tao na mag-register ng kanilang SIM card gamit ang pekeng detalye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u201cIyong SIM card registration natin, kahit sino, kahit anong address ang ilagay mo pwede, kahit anong mukha ang ilagay mo pwede. So, sino ang hahabulin ng imbestigador? Blangko \u2018di ba,\u201d pahayag pa ni Cruz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Sinabi pa ni Cruz na ang pinaka-nakaka-alarmang scams ay ang tinatawag na \u201clove scam\u201d kung saan ang mga biktima, kadalasan ay retiradong lalaki na mahigit 35 taong gulang, na may negosyo, ang namamanipula sa pamamagitan ng pagpapadala ng pera sa mga nagpapanggap o manlolokong tao gamit ang manuals na ginawa pa daw ng psychologists at psychiatrists na binayaran pa ng mga ito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Ibinunyag pa ni Cruz na ang mga scammers ay mayroong maraming larawan ng magagandang babae at pinag-aralan ang social media behavior ng kanilang susunod na biktima.
