2026 General Appropriation Bill, pwedeng silipin sa website ng Kamara – Gatchalian

Maaari nang suriin nang sinuman ang General Appropriation Bill para sa 2026 na makikta sa website ng Mababang Kapulungan, ayon kay Senador Win Gatchalian.
Sa pahayag, sinabi ni Gatchalian, chairman ng Senate committee on finance, na alinsunod ang paglalagay ng 2026 GAB sa website ng Kamara sa pinagtibay na Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 4 para sa transparency.
“I’m pleased to inform everyone that the GAB together with the annexes has been uploaded in the HoR website and the digital copy has been transmitted to the Senate,” ani Gatchalian.
Sinabi ni Gatchalian na kauna-unahang pagkakataon ang pangyayari na naka-upload ang
GAB sa digital format na maaaring silipin at suriin ng mamamayan.
“In previous practice, only one copy of the four (4) volumes of the GAB is sent to the Senate and senators are expected to share in perusing the document,” ayon kay Gatchalian.
Ngayon, aniya pa, mayroon nang digital copy ang GAB.
“We will send each senator a digital copy of the GAB in a USB tomorrow,” aniya.
Naunang inaprubahan ng Senado ang Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 4 na naglalayong palakasin ang proseso sa badyet sa pamamagitan ng pagtupad sa mahigpit na transparency at accountability measures upang protektahan ang public funds at gastusin nang maahyos at tumugma sa prayoridad ng gobyerno.
Ipinangako ni Gatchalian na magsisilbing “golden age of transparency and accountability: ang Senate committee on finance na kanyang pinamumunuan.
“As Finance Committee chairman, I will not allow any insertion in the budget. I will also make sure that we will be very strict when it comes to confidential funds,” ayon sa senador.
“Existing technological innovations now allow for centralized, accessible, and searchable platforms for budget data that are responsive to the principles of open government and digital governance,” giit niya.
